Darkness at 5:34, for god's sake

So dark so early I feel every afternoon like I've forgotten something terribly important and am late for that something. Yuck. I don't round comfortably into the dark early afternoons of Fall back. Yet that makes no never mind, as I'm humming along with Nanowrimo, past 28,00 words, more than halfway. It makes my butt itchy to sit for these long sessions, but I suppose that's my fault. Makes me suspicious about some kind of unidentified white powder that fell on my chair instead of falling on the Nimitz highway.

Nanowrimo forces me to think ahead but not too much, so I think it works. It also forces me to use my calculator as I tempt myself with various tactics to get ahead and then slide on a day with too many activities. Yes, new characters have appeared onscreen, and that's entertaining. Novels are entertainment. I will CERTAINLY be entertained as I read the whole thing over once I'm done with 50,00 words. Oy!
