Red Room Where the Writers Are

A question that comes to our mind is whether we think in words.I have tried to pause while thinking in order to become conscious of whether the process is carried on in language but I have not been very sure of what is taking place behind the mental activity  of thought.

Perhaps, sometimes we think in words ,not necessarily all the time.Thought begins and words form and as the words move forward newer thoughts form and the direction in which the flow happens is the way words take you ahead because at some point of time words formation and thought formation overlaps and each of them takes the other forward.There certainly appear to be two independent processes moving together and meeting at some point where they become indistinguishable from each other.
