I started writing by accident. I adopted a human aggressive dog (Shadow) and for some divine reason, kept a journal about him. A friend of mine suggested writing some articles about my work with him and the rest is history!
Because I write non-fiction (dogs), I would have to say that the dogs themselves, as well as the top half of the leash have been my biggest influences. Ted Turner (not Jane Fondas ex) and Patty Ruzzo have been my personal "mentors."

I just came back from Heaven on Earth. Or so it should be called. Glenhighland Farm in Morris, NY, where I just spent 6 days with my 3 dogs and a friend/student with her one dog.
Okay, so I don't get TV and haven't watched TV in over 6 years now. However, when I travel, I do watch it because really, what else can one do in a hotel room with oneself and three dogs?
