I started writing by accident. I adopted a human aggressive dog (Shadow) and for some divine reason, kept a journal about him. A friend of mine suggested writing some articles about my work with him and the rest is history!

Influences

Because I write non-fiction (dogs), I would have to say that the dogs themselves, as well as the top half of the leash have been my biggest influences. Ted Turner (not Jane Fondas ex) and Patty Ruzzo have been my personal "mentors."

To Kill a Mockingbird, Jane Eyre, Sense and Sensibility, The Virginian and others, too numerous to mention

this is the link to my website for the slide show. I did remember some of this stuff, but Pauline and Jacki came to my rescue for most of the captions. Have I mentioned lately how wonderful those 2 women are???

Reading through this blog a few times and looking at the pictures quite a few times, I could very much do this again and (hopefully) won't be afraid to travel anymore!
