See Jennifer Messer 2 rows in front of me (Jennifer is also speaking at the APDT AU conference and I thought she was taking a different itinerary. It turned out that she was flying Qantas and I was flying United**there is a story there that will come later) – Check!

After 2 hours, I had had enough of this flight and wanted off the plane. At around the 4 hour mark, after trying to sleep but couldn’t because of the aforementioned 3 kids, I did say something under my breath. Mom must have heard me because they finally made an effort to shut the kids up! – check! <g>
At around 8 hours, I really wanted off the plane. I continued to try to sleep with not much success. I could have taken some xanax, but for some reason didn’t. I was cold, achy and tired.
At the 10 hour mark, I really, really wanted off the plane…
At the 13 hour mark, I really, really, really wanted off the plane…..
I did periodically take a stroll around the plane and it really did help. The food was horrific and while I did bring my own food with me, it was hard to get to. Because I was in an aisle seat, the area in front of me was very small and my carry-on bag wouldn’t fit. Because I am so short, I had to keep enlisting help to get my bag down out of the above compartment and I didn’t want to keep asking this 7 foot guy behind me for help. I came to regret that later…
