Lee-on-the-Solent Library, Hampshire, England

I've just uploaded some photographs taken yesterday at my talk at Lee-on-the-Solent Library in Hampshire.  The  small library was built in the 1930's and has been recently refurbished, though I guess it's had many refurbishments since it was opened! There was a nice sized crowd, about twenty, which for a small library was good, and one gentleman, who is one of my followers on Twitter, had travelled many miles to hear me speak, which was really nice of him.  The rest of the people were from the local area. Libraries are such a valuable part of our community and I know are highly cherished by the community.  If it hadn't been for my local library as a small child I would never have discovered the joy of reading, and hence writing. That is why I am passionate about libraries and supporting them both in the UK and the USA where many are under threat because of budget cuts.  We need our libraries.

Thank you to Ann Davidson and Lee-on-the-Solent Library for organising my talk and to all the lovely people who came and bought my books details of all of them can be found on my web site.
