McCain and Palin are for the regular, normal, everyday Americans, the real people who work hard, go to church, pay their bills, and in particular, the regular Joes (not just plumbers) and the regular hockey/soccer/football/softball/t-ball-Moms who live in Pro-America.  I’m a little concerned that they are, therefore, not in favor of the exceptional, the well-healed, well-educated America.  Should I assume they are not for corporate executives, Wall Street financiers, and the families who live in upper-strata neighborhoods in expensive homes, who maybe have second homes and three or four cars and trust funds for their kids’ $46,000/year college tuitions.  Why doesn’t Palin mention these people – they certainly might be Republicans, just as loyal and just as worthy as the regular folk.  I get worried that Palin/McCain are going to disenfranchise the real Republicans, the Republicans who have worked the hardest, sacrificed the most, taken on the most difficult jobs.  Are McCain and Palin anti-management?  Anti-executive?  Anti-MBA?   Maybe they can’t be for the regular guy or gal with a GED and also be for the not-so-regular Yale alum with a BA?

McCain and Palin are fearful of socialism – the socialism in Obama’s programs that put power in the hands of the Federal government.  I’m a bit confused then, because McCain wants the Federal Government to take over management of all the bad home mortgages.   How can you want the Fed to manage home mortgages and at same time be against socialism?  I mean, that is socialism – big government managing the money so the less fortunate get bailed out.

McCain and Palin like their rallies to be lively and they can’t always hear what their livened-up supporters yell when they talk about Obama’s association with an American Terrorist, but they are angry and hurt by the inflammatory, emotion-laden comments made by Obama at his rallies.  Oh wait – McCain is not concerned about a dried-up has-been American Terrorist – it’s Palin who’s on that case.  And it wasn’t Obama or Biden who compared McCain’s stance to George Wallace, it was some black politician – well, it’s, you know, the same thing, right?

I am going to have to make a better list of the major points of the campaign speeches by McCain and Palin.  And if you, like me, are a bit flummoxed, then let them know.  The election is more than a week away, maybe it’s not too late for them to make it all right.
