Peace of the Subtle
Peace seems to be a simple word, doesn't it?
And yet, we don't really understand it. Some believe that we can make world peace with war. I know we can't. Some believe we can't have individual peace if there are machines of war. I know we can.
As the world tosses and turns in its dark nightmare of the soul, I watch the people of the world struggle against enemies and competitors and I wonder: is it possible for the world to actually find true peace?
The answer rings in the back of my head: "Of course! But it is very unlikely. Focus on your own peace and pray the world emulates you."
I watch people fight for peace and I'm amazed as they play out a living oxymoron. You can't fight for peace. Just like you can't win a war on drugs or a war on terrorism.
The universe takes our energy, our desires, and places it in a gigantic matrix of all the possible futures we could ever have according to where that desire wants to take us. In other words: because all possibilities exist, when we desire something we add energy to that possible outcome and at some time in the future that outcome will manifest.
But there's a catch: the universe only understands energy and one of the energy generators that humans are all too familiar with is called "fear." So the universe can't tell the difference between desire and fear. All that we fear receives our energy and thus will manifest for us in the future along with all of our desires.
We have all these desires and fears vying for our future manifestations. The one with the highest amount of energy wins and things manifest that satisfy those energies. This is how the fundamental system of feedback works. If we put energy into a possibility we get that possibility at some point in the future. If we label it a negative experience and we fear it happening again it necessarily must happen again because we feed it. If we desire good things, and the good things come and we fear losing them, then we must lose them necessarily because our fear causes it to manifest.
Likewise if we enjoy something and desire more of it, then it will manifest and we can get stuck in an infinite loop. Drugs, sex, and oh lots of things work that way.
It seems that we can only maintain a balance when we are opposed to our fears and desires. Only then can we hope to balance them and stop reacting. Once we stop reacting we stop fearing and stop desiring and at some point the manifestations lessen. What manifests becomes more and more subtle. Consciousness is found in the subtle and thus we become more aware.
That turns us from human animals, into god-like beings of light and energy. I've met a few: they are splendid to be around.
How does this relate to reality?
I'm putting my energy toward my peace and the peace of my fellow United Statians. I'm not going to fear the outcome of Tuesday's election, I'm going to accept it and continue my journey toward true peace.
Peaceful attitudes bring about the subtle and the subtle brings about awareness and awareness brings us consciousness.
I have to appoligize for being so random. I can't help it, its a quality of this mind.
