Today all I want to do is to include a link to a brilliant story, "Aesthetic Discipline," by Carolyn Cooke, a part of the series "Fifty-two Stories with Cal Morgan." Lately I've been reading the highly stylized work of Carlos Ruiz Zafon and found myself meditating on ideas of aesthetic "distance" and "discipline," so appreciate you sharing this post.
