L.A.'s 2008 Alt Book Bazaar

I recently received an email from my old friend and editor, now also an author and producer, Rob Cohen, out in Hollywood.  It was a mass email, but its topic is good and may appeal to authors out in the Southern California area.  Here's some of what it said:

 

Now that I can focus on something other than politics, it's time to start getting ready for the 2008 Alt Book Bazaar which is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th, 5-9pm. This year's event will once again be at Wax Poetic Salon in Burbank and follow the holiday cocktail party format that's worked great for the past two years. We'll have free food, booze and a DJ spinning.


If you're a published author with a book to sell (or know an author who might be interested) please let me know ASAP so we can consider your book for the event.

Well, I'm not going to post his personal phone number here, but if you ARE interested in getting involved and promoting your book next month, check out the official 2008 Alt Book Bazaar website, which has Rob's email address with an email link.  Since I no longer live in Los Angeles, I haven't and can't participate, but I'm confident it'll be fun and productive; Rob always was good at promotion.  Cheers!
