Hmmm.  Since I already blog on Wednesday nights with a blog called Woodsong Notes (http://sueglasco.blogspot.com)  and on Sunday nights on Amazon Connect (http://www.amazon.com/gp/blog/A1AQVV87IPU442/ref=cm_blog_dp_artist_blog) , I really don't plan to blog here very often.  In fact, sometimes I am late on the other two blogs, but I try to be conscientiously on time.   I posted both these and two websites when I signed up but they have not shown up yet as far as I can tell on my member home page.  Ah well.

I just discovered this site while googling another writer.  So I started playing around with it and posted here.  I may write more on this blog than I expect to.  Who knows?

Sometimes I think I blog to keep from working on "real" writing.  Othertimes I think blogging is as good a method as I thought it woud be to keep me writing.

I am confused why my home page is blank until way down the screen.  Puzzling.  What did I do wrong?

I am still trying to learn to navigate Red Door.  I thought there was supposed to be notices of writing events in local areas.  I haven't found that yet. If I had, I would have posted that Southern Illinois Writers Guild will be sponsoring at poetry reading this Thursday at Latta Java at 412 North Market, Marion, IL.  Poets are welcome to bring a poem or two to read at the open mike.  I am not a poet, but I like being around poets.  I like being around anyone who loves words.
