The debate last night was stunning.  Obama is stunning.  Obama is honest, kind, down-to-earth, unpretentious, authentic and smart.  A real intelligence, rather than the reptilian brain-power that has been running this country.  He took on all the difficult issues and had something specific to offer the American people on how to deal with those issues.  He is a true diplomat.  He is a true leader.  For many years, I have not felt proud to be an American.  I have felt only dismay, despair.  Disgusted.  Last night, I thought, this is it, finally.  I cannot wait to vote for Obama.  I was almost in shock.  In shock at the thought that someone could be leading this country in the right direction.  McCain was terrible to watch, terrible to listen to, terrible to imagine his misguided "hand at the tiller" of this nation.  Every time he said, "my friends," I cringed.  And he repeated it constantly throughout his pompous, vague and muddled speech.  My friends?  McCain only has a few friends, and they are in the top one percent of the very rich in America. 

Is Health Care a right or a responsibility?

Obama:  a right

McCain:  a responsibility

Health Care is a right for every citizen in this country.  In a country this rich, it has been a travesty, an abomination that children die because of lack of medical attention. 

McCain calling Obama, "that one." 

It was terrible to hear. 

McCain is insulting, mendacious, muddled, vague, confused, and has completely sold out to the degrading and life-destroying powers-that-be.

I have had no respect for my own country for so long for so many reasons, to think that this will change and change soon...I am in shock at the hope of it, at the shining possibility.

I wanted to say, "Thank you," to Obama.  Thank you for wanting to take on this unbelievably difficult job.  Thank you.
