Potion in a Notion

What would keep a hearts sweet red divine

or lay as easy on a troubled mind?

Felt as warmth on a sunny day,

 offers, steps a swagger sway.

Why, love! Without a doubt   

Devoid of a moments waste,

for the mind to think and heart to taste.

Stored for use on a cloudy day,

Carries, steps a swagger sway.

I read a story in Sunday school,

where a boy with a sling-shot

took down a giant

and I thought

now that’s the power of God.

Once a man stated to me, that his religion was the only true religion,

so I asked had he forgotten the Tower of Babylon.

That every notion we conceive in our thoughts,

Can be put into a modern phrase when it comes to God,

“been there done that” as we are in his likeness.

So I furthered my statement on that base, with a quotation

I hold true as any to represent God's idealism on the diversity of religion,

which in all actually holds true in a democracy and I quote...

"Power corrupts and absolute power, corrupts absolutely"

I quote you this from God himself…

I come as a whisper in the night and leave as the roar of a lion,

until that final day of reckoning, when we shall all stand as one.
