Red Room Where the Writers Are

Just back from an interview at The Montecito Journal re my book, "Torn by God: A Family's Struggle with Polygamy."  I thought there might be smoke in the air as one of the first, of what's sure to be a season of California fires, was still burning. My husband and I had just run to the top of the mountains where the fire is last week and noticed how dry and brown the landscape was. I never quite get used to fire as an aspect of weather, but here in Southern California it must definitely is.

The article re my book will be out next Thursday.  I will post a link to it here for any who are interested in the subject. Also, there will be a reading/signing at the Tecolote Book Shop in Montecito on Saturday, May 23 from 2-3:30 pm. Would love to see any of you who live in the area. If past experience is an indicator, there is sure to be an interesting and lively discussion.
