Wow! I didn't imagine I would get such a great response to the first haiku challenge of the week. Thank you everyone for your fantastic haikus. It wasn't an easy decision, but our winner is Randall, due in part to his shear number of great haiku poems!

Special thanks to John Oughton's eloquent "Cliche Haiku", Lance M Foster's "Gore Part 12", and Caleb Whang's testament to the ongoing Korean interest in accidental incest, "Korean Drama Cliche Plot Device."

Just a friendly reminder to some contestants: haiku poems are constructed of three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively.
