When? Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27, 2009

Cost? $350.00 for working teams (1 dog and 1 handler),
$75.00 for one additional dog
Auditors: $150.00.

Lunch included

Max working teams – 15. Auditors – unlimited

Hours of camp? Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days

Who can attend? Anyone and everyone*! Even if your dog (or you) has no experience or tons of experience, free shaping camp is for you!

What will we be learning?

The short list (which may change depending on skill levels): Your dog can learn to ride a skateboard, wipe his/her feet, close a door, spin in a circle, head down, head up, stop on a mark, learn the names of different body parts, retrieve, put toys away in basket, jump through hoops, competition, rally and agility behaviors and much more!

Why do I want my dog to learn by free shaping?

Many behaviors can certainly be taught through luring, however, the speed in which dogs learn when they are experienced “free shapers,” is breathtaking! Free shaping really teaches your dog how to think, problem solve and be a more active partner in the training process. The even bigger benefit is that free shaping makes you a better trainer!

Extras: There will be contests and prizes based on skill levels and special training challenges!
