The GALLERY CAFÉ READING SERIES has been operating for many years in the heart of San Francisco. The venue is located right across from the historic San Francisco Cable Car Barn and Museum on the corner of Mason and Washington.
Event hostess Kit Kennedy designs monthly programs that feature a wide variety of poets and musicians from all over the Bay Area as well as from out-of-state. These programs distinguish themselves in that they offer an excellent opportunity to experience contemporary poetry spanning all styles and manifestations, from haiku, to verse, to recitatives, to sonnets, to prose poems and everything in-between.
