What an amazing book-launch party Mimi and Dan Kingsley hosted at their lovely home for me and The Devil's Tickets. Nearly 100 guests gathered on their back patio, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and the lush Marin County greenscape. Actor Cully Fredricksen performed a chilling 14-minute monologue as Jack Bennett, and author David Sheff led me in a Q & A with his usual elan. All in all, it was an unforgettable evening.
