The journey through the courts since Mayor Gavin Newsome offered LGBT people the right to legally marry in February of 2004 has been a rollercoaster ride---exhilaration and despair. Some couples were stopped at the civic "alter" other couples had their legal marraiges vacated by the courts. No one should tell others they are not equal before the law. Still we wait to hear what the courts will say. And if conservatives have their way the voters will then throw in their word on my rights.
