Constantly On the Go

I would say my life is boring, yet hectic, alive--yet dead at the same time. I make promises to myself and most of the time I have those ideas and insprations shot down with my metaphorical shot gun. I even entered the NaNoWriMo Writing contest that begins next month. The goal is to write a 50,000 word piece of fiction by midnight on Novemeber 30th. I am now having second thoughts-- ...

School and loneliness

Well, school is going along fine. I can't say I enjoy being the new kid-- a freshman in college-- but I know things can only get better. Whenever I feel angry or downtrodden, I usually pour my heart on my journal page, or devour a book. I have become so desperate recently that I am reading four books simultaneously! lol. I used to read several books at a time when I was a kid, but school and ...

Inspirations

Reading has been...........well, a way to relax. A way to unwind after a cruelly hectic and longgg day. To think that anyone can go a day without reading at least a page of a great book is beyond me. I just do not understand why someone would throw away valuable inspirations such as reading. Fully grown adults sometimes overlook the enjoyment of literature or a fine piece of nonfiction- and ...

The Headache

Thursday, April 16th Well, to be honest- headaches have plaughed me for years. They pound like thunder- and tingle like the taste of ice cream on a hot day. They persist- and although Asprin is a great remedy- it is hopeless, knowing that it will eventually come back. But I don't let it perturb me- I am strong, seeing as my Military dad made me that way. "Take the pain!" he would say. ...
