About Me
My name is Doug McIntire. I'm originally from Iowa, but I now make my home in central Texas, around the Austin area. I'm 45 years old and my wife's name is Maria. We have two children. Xavier (Alex) is 20 years old going to college at University of Texas - Permian Basin in Odessa. Sarah is 13 years old and is in the eighth grade.
I write speculative fiction, mainly horror. I'm currently shopping two novels around for agent representation.
I'm also working on numerous short stories that I'm constantly marketing.
Interests & Hobbies
I like to write and ride my Harley-Davidson motorcycle in my free time. I've been doing both for a number of years now. I've ridden my motorcycle to all 48 states of the Continental United States! And not on a trailer! It was all hard miles on the seat!
