Born and raised in a lovely rural part of New York, my curiosity about other cultures and love of travel has me now living in Chile.

Having worked for a time with a major airline afforded me the oppportunity to visit many wonderful places throughout the world. This combined with many other unusual life experiences has given me a deep well to draw from when looking for my next article to write.

My efforts in animal rescue, both heartbreaking and rewarding, also provide much inspiration for writing.

Second only to my love of writing is reading the work of other authors, whether it's sitting down with a great historical romance novel or learning about how to build your own cat furniture. For me, life is just one long learning experience.

Come from a large family of five children, but I'm single with no children.
