About Me
LA Pritchett's first taste of publication was at age seventeen in her hometown newspaper. Through the years, her passion of reading and writing has only grown stronger with time. Professional and personal growth opportunities continually fuel her writing fire. . . She has won numerous awards, including the 2008 National Novel Writing Month competition. In 2006 and in 2007, she won awards through the publisher, Associated Content for Non-Fiction Challenge Contests. The 2006 Challenge was for "The Best Mistake I Ever Made." The 2007 Challenge was for the Non-fiction Black History Month Challenge for the story, "Whispers," under the pen name Herstory. . . She is a regular contributing writer to Suite 101, Inc., and actively publishing in various other markets. Some of her online publications viewable at Suite 101, Inc. and at Associated Content may be available for reprint. Just ask permission. She might say "Yes!"
