I was born and raised in Berkeley, California. My parents did not own a television while I was growing up so I was exposed to reading at an early age.

I am very inspired by all the wonderful projects and books that redroom.com authors and members have shared on the site. I know that with the help of all our users redroom.com will become a cultural institution.

Although most of my writing has been in my capacity as an attorney, I am currently writing a book about my attempt to qualify for the Olympics as a rower.

Both parents are classical musicians with day jobs. My brother is studying to become a teacher.

Reading, writing, spiritual growth, politics, rowing, biking, sailing, and poker among others.

Before coming to work at Red Room I worked as an attorney for close to four years. I have handled cases ranging from large class actions regarding corporate fraud to smaller business litigation matters. In addition, I handled corporate matters for a broad range of businesses.
