About Me
Amber LaParne is co-author of "The Ghosts of Anne and Sylvia", a collection of poetry that explores the ties of friendship and madness. Amber LaParne was a Wildcard Semi Finalist in the Seattle Grand Slam in 2001 and a Finalist in EWU's Get Lit Poetry Bout 2002. Along with many readings in the Southwest and Northwest, she has had her work featured on Thin Air radio and continues to contribute to Spokane’s poetry community. She is currently working on her first fiction book, an intriguing and mysterious young adult novel.
Relationship Status
- I am happily married to an ornery Italian meatcutter (I am a former vegetarian).
Family
I have two wonderful and talented kids who make me laugh every single day.
Interests & Hobbies
I try to get outdoors with my family as much as possible. We love to hike and camp and commune with Nature. I have also been known to bake away my pain in a very Kitty Forman like manner. If I am upset you had better believe there will be vodka and pie with dinner.
