About Me

  • NIKI AGUIRRE is a London based fiction writer, born in the United States. She studied English Literature at the University of Illinois and holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of London.

    Her debut collection of short fiction, 29 Ways to Drown, was published in 2007 (Lubin & Kleyner). She is the recipient of an Arts Council of England grant (2007) and a Birkbeck Outstanding Achievement Award in Creative Writing (2006).

    Her short stories have been published in Tell Tales, Mechanics' Institute Review, X-24 and LITRO Magazine. Niki is currently working on her first novel.
