April 1997 to 2002: Lecturer 1, Department of English University of Ibadan, Nigeria. December 1987 to March 1997: Lecturer, Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. November 1986 - July 1987 : Teaching Assistant (in the National Youth Service Corp Programme) in The Use of English and General African Studies, University of Lagos, Abeokuta Campus.
