About Me

  • Uber computer geek.  Math teacher says "you will never get anywhere in this world playing around with computers!"  This from a guy who confused himself during his own lecture.  I used to tutor English composition (essays) and math.  I've been working in the IT industry for the last 13 years, which means I am doomed to be outsourced.  Actually, it just happened.  It sucks, but such is life.  Anybody need an IT guy to kick their laptop?  Also, every year I get more depressed as I need to scroll down the Year of Birth drop down box just a little further.  Yikes.

Relationship Status

  • Community property laws aside, no -- not at the moment.

Family

  • Um ... since I did not spawn asexually, the answer is yes? I am in a family, but I do not currently have one. Two brothers - I am the middle child (which means I am still young enough for the oldest one to boss me around, and I am not old enough so that the youngest one laughs in my face.)

Interests & Hobbies

  • computers, audio books on my iPod, Frank Sinatra (love the standards!), writing (not enough -- need to do more of this!)  I like old movies.  I love Casablanca (best movie of all time), I love a good story.  Sometimes, the best way to unwind is to take a nice long walk in the sunlight and crank up the iPod.  I really love the free walking tours that the SF Library does everyday.

WORK

  • IT Support for Fair Isaac Corporation in San Rafael. Being outsourced is not fun. I think I will write about it!
