Summer Block has published essays, short fiction, and poetry in a variety of publications, including McSweeneys, Small Spiral Notebook, Tarpaulin Sky, San Francisco Chronicle, ALARM, Identity Theory, January Magazine, Rain Taxi, Monkeybicycle, Stirring, and DIAGRAM. She is also founder of the comedy magazine, The Foghorn.
