I am the author of Hide & Seek: How I Laughed At Depression, Conquered MyFears And Found Happiness (KunatiĀ October 2008). I have also written for the hit sitcom Family Ties and for the New York Stage, as well as for newspapers and magazines nationwide, including The New York Times and Newsweek
My main influences are the great humorists--everyone from Dorothy Parker to Laurie Notaro. I'm also a big independent film buff and love quirky comedies--everything from The Heartbreak Kid to like Little Miss Sunshine. Being pretty dysfunctional, I also like read books about people with psychological issues, including everything from The Catcher in the Rye to She's Come Undone.
