- Amber LaParne is co-author of "The Ghosts of Anne and Sylvia", a collection of poetry that explores the ties of friendship and madness. Amber LaParne was a Wildcard Semi Finalist in the Seattle Grand Slam in 2001 and a Finalist in EWU's Get Lit Poetry Bout 2002. Along with many readings in the Southwest and Northwest, she has had her work featured on Thin Air radio and continues to contribute to Spokane’s poetry community. She is currently working on her first fiction book, an intriguing and mysterious young adult novel.
