About Me

  • My name is Giselle A. and I'm a new writer *dodges N00b tomatoes*

I'm a jack of all trades, with special focus in art and languages. I've also dabbled in video editing, doll making and distribution [Celice Paradis] and now a writer. Incidentally, I became a writer by inspiration. The mesmerizing melody and unique voice of Shiina Ringo has inspired my latest project. Before that it was Keane's "Fly to Me."

    • I kind of want to let loose a little secret of mine - of why I want to write a book and make it the best I can. I want his attention. It's odd and somewhat misogynistic and silly, I know. But this infatuation has not left me for years. I don't want to meet this man, however, for it would surely ruin everything. If anything, I just want him to know of me. He's someone I admire and strive to ...
  • Let it flower, and paint it all of the colors bold

But every once in a while, life's little gripes just get to that certain point when, for sanity's sake, it needs to be ranted about.  Writing my book has ...
  • As a Fourteen. Nothing More, Everything less.

    • What is so terrible about being big? That's right. Another "fat" entry. Those of you who were just made immediately uncomfortable with the opening statement are free to leave. Right then -  Why is it that if you are big, no matter how articulate, accomplished, capable, and eloquent you are, you will always be perceived as wrong in some way? I ask myself that so often when I am in the ...
  • Throw It On The Pile

    December 18, 2008

    • It's funny how the minutes seem to tick away faster in the night time. As I type here, having just missed "Kath and Kim" and awaiting another 7 minutes for "The Office" to start, I realized something. This homely, safe, predictable life of mine is finally ending. On Sunday, I graduate - not completely or wholeheartedly, but I graduate. It's new and scary, and not in the fun ...
