- Born in 1974 in Zimbabwe, Michelle McGrane spent her childhood in Malawi, then moved to South Africa with her family. Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. She has published two poetry collections, Fireflies & Blazing Stars (2002) and Hybrid (2003). Her third full-length collection, The Suitable Girl, is to be published by Pindrop Press and launched in the United Kingdom in 2010.
