    • For Dead at 27 and Other Stories, I've been digging into my past for memories. I just came across this little gem, and it's quite possible that my love of storytelling was a product of my parents saying, "Tell us a story, Holly."In this home video, I tell gripping stories such as "My friend stuck their arm in the washer" and "My friend got hit by a car." I was six ...
  • I was nervous, but I think the interview went well

    June 25, 2009

    • Last night, I set up the webcam and was interviewed by fellow author  Stacey Cochran. We chatted a bit about The Nine Lives of Clemenza, the inspiration for the book, writing and publishing. I'm a talker, but this was my first interview via webcam and I was so nervous. I kept eyeing up the glass of water that I had next to me, too terrified to take a sip during the interview, knowing well that ...
  • I'm blogging my next book

    June 20, 2009

    • After considering a few suggestions for my next book, I've decided to blog the entire thing. I'm calling it Dead at 27 and Other Stories. You can read along, follow the progress and comment here: ...

Check out the ...

No. 1 I'm so guilty of this and should know better! Sometimes I just can't keep my mouth closed. ~Holly
  • Thanks, Kristen!

I checked out the site that you write for and will be submitting my novel for review! It's so refreshing to see a new helpful site! Thank you and best of luck!
  • Thank you!

I'm so excited! Now I'm emailing the old college professors to find other local writers. This is like a full time job, only satisfying.
  • Red Twizzlers, of course!

Thanks for your suggestion, Joshua! I'm going to get on the newspaper wagon today. The blog, I guess, is going to be about the book and how the promoting and selling goes. But I'm so random.
