- Born and raised in Oakland Ca, Latiisha D Hester came from a middle class home raised by both of her parents in the hood of West Oakland. Latiisha began writing as a young child and grew into writing short stories and Plays for her hometown church. After writing her 1st short story in Highschool and seeing the reaction that her classmates gave her she continued to write. She is currently working on a Short story called Double Trouble and hopes to have it published in the fall of 2009 spring 2010
