About Me

  • Raised, educated, married in Boston.  We moved to NJ and found our piece of paradise on the Delaware River.  Darling was KIA in Vietnam.  The fairy tale was over.  Because I've attended so many different units of higher education, I've many licenses and permits.  I've enjoyed many different careers.  Communications; commercial building; department store owner; real estate broker; city government; law enforcement  and I believe most of all being in politics.

  • PEACE: Illusive and an Intangible Concept

    November 19, 2009

    • We've all heard the words, "Wars and rumors of wars".  That phrase is almost as old as humankind.I see PEACE as an absence of what will be uncomfortable to someone or me.As we approach Holiday Time of 2009, just the words, "Holiday Time" will send some people out of their minds.  Because they claim the United States to be a Judeo-Christian country, everyone should ...

    • Boston was developed by immigrants.  The Native Peoples were already there and had their own history, society in tact.  So forget the baloney of the Pilgrims landing at the Plimouth [British spelling] Rock.  They brought the deadly diseases to the Massachusetts Colony, as they called the area.In the City of today, on can walk the Freedom Trail unguided and visit my childhood playground.  It ...

  • Too Soon Gone

    September 24, 2009

    • A dear elder cousin told me I'd not lived long enough to understand death and mourn friends.  When two would pass on the same day, then I was old enough.  It has happened this year.  It began on January 31. Then in seven days, I'd lost eight friends, relatives, acquaintances.  The death list has grown beyond imagination this year.I grew up in Boston and knew Teddy Kennedy "well" ...
