About Me

  • I'm the eldest among 3 children, still single and waiting for my one true love...my parents asked me to take up Business Administration in college but writing is really my passion and after a few years I proved to them that I can become a writer though I started from scratch and doesn't have the formal education in writing. I was a newspaper reporter in our commmunity newspaper and that started it all. Right now, I'm a freelance writer and at the same time an online English teacher for koreans.

  • King Brian and Queen Elizabeth’s 6th Month

    November 23, 2009

    •      How can you tell if the heavens sent you the ONE you’ve been praying for?      Oh, my love, my darling, I’ve hungered for your touch a long lonely time… (hey, this is our theme song, although I’m not that old like the original song is. Is it from the Everly Brothers?) thinking of my sweetheart while I write this blog at home, wonderin’ what’s he doing…oh, my gosh, ...
  • Who Are The People In Your Neighborhood?

    November 22, 2009

    •      No, I’m not asking for additional neighbors for my farm, my aquarium or tank but I’m rather humming one of the popular children’s songs on Sesame Street – my “babysitter” 30 something years ago. Long before Facebook’s  games like Farmtown, Farmville, Café World, Yoville and my current craze, Fishville, as a child during my carefree days, I was hooked up watching this ...
  • When The Heavens Cried For Me

    November 18, 2009

    • Have you ever felt like you were cursed for a day in your life? It’s as if everything is not going your way and you feel like crying, bottling up those feelings to yourself?       Well, instead of my tear ducts doing the bawling, it was the heavens that opened its gates and poured the showers on me the very day I forgot to bring my umbrella! And that rarely happens, you see.       ...
  • Doomsday Flicks Craze

    November 17, 2009

    •     The streets of LA rolling like giant waves, St. Peter’s Basilica crumbling, the Eiffel Tower and the statue of Christ in Rio falling. These are just some of the scenes in disaster films people love to watch despite waiting inline for what seems like forever just to get tickets.     Who wouldn’t know these blockbusters: Independence Day, Deep Impact, Armageddon, Day after ...
  • My Niche In The Blogosphere

    November 11, 2009

    • Picture this: Obama and Steven Colbert and other distinguished writers/authors as my co-bloggers. Who would think I could possibly “rub elbows” online with these famous personalities, best selling book authors, film makers ? I have already requested President Obama if we could be neighbors in Red Room and I do hope he approves it!        I am just an ordinary Feature Writer but I found ...
