"Black Rider" and "Side-kicked" - Committed Comics' Threads
Synopsis:
Two short comic stories for a small comic publisher anthology. Black Rider was a supernatural western, the story of a sherrif shot in the back and was empowered by ancient native spirits to return to earth for vengence.
Side-kicked, was the story of a young boy who comes up with a super-hero identity to impress his hero during a local appearance, and winds up saving his life after a stunt show goes wrong and the hero is captured by evil forces.

An early yet still cherrished work.

the second story "Side-kicked" was originally not scheduled to be put into the collection but the CEO of the company enjoyed it so much he pushed for its inclusion.
Also, the first cover was done by the legendary western artist Dick Ayers.
