Synopsis:

Elf lives a dog's life--most of the time--with hapless Dan McCoy and his wife, June, in Harrington, a quiet suburb of New York City. Unfortunately, they don't find out until it's too late that their cute little puppy is desperately wanted by nefarious show dog breeders who will stop at nothing--murder included--to get their hands on the little guy's valuable genes. While Dan and June try to civilize the rascal Silky Terrier, the breeders and their minions do their bloody best to dognap him.

It's a comedic canine adventure with a posse of offbeat neighbors, wacky in-laws, and ruthless dog fanciers who frantically hunt for Elf when he is lost, found, lost again, found again, stolen, and then stolen from the dog thieves.
