Synopsis:
When Mrs. Jamieson moves to a senior's home, she can't bring her dog. A full year later, however, Sam finds her. Based on a true story, this is the amazing account of how Sam did get to live in the senior's home.
Book Excerpt:
Soon, they clipped a leash to Sam's collar. Mrs. Jamieson kissed Sam's head. Sam got very worried. "Be good, Sam," she whispered in his ear.
"I'll miss you but it'll be okay."
They led him out the front door and towards a car. Sam whined. He tried pulling back but the man scooped him up and put him onto the back seat. His favourite blanket was there and his chewy toy, too. Sam tried to look out of the car window for Mrs. Jamieson, but the woman kept talking to him and scratching his ears.
