Out of Time
Synopsis:
A scientist invents the means to time travel, and the US government decides they need to "fix" history, so they manipulate the scientist into doing their bidding. The time travelers end up first in 1947, then they go back and try ot fix Wounded Knee, the Titanic, Anne Frank, JFK, Apollo 13, and the Challenger space shuttle. When the time travelers end up back in their present, something has changed, and not necessarily for the better.
