Synopsis:

17-year-old Mimi Wallingford has a life most girls dream of-complete with the starring role in her family's production of Romeo and Juliet. But acting is not her dream and she's fighting for the right to trade her script for a scalpel and become a doctor.

14-year-old Juliet Capulet has lived a lonely life-imprisoned by the feud that consumes her family and by her iron-fisted mother's forcing her into an unwanted marriage. She's fighting for the right to do what girls of her time were not allowed to do-choose her own future.

When Mimi is magically transported into Juliet's world, she doesn't want to stand by and let the story reach its tragic end. Can she change the ending to the greatest love story of all time and still get back to Broadway?
