So Dark the Night
Synopsis:
A supernatural mystery, shweetheart. Two private detectives who only work from dusk 'til dawn become aware of a conspiracy being hatched by a cabal of local occultists. They work to thwart the dark designs of their enemies, who are only too happy to employ black magic to further their grim ends.
So Dark the Night is an homage to cult movies, TV and books, a tip of the hat to the likes of H.P. Lovecraft, Val Lewton and Raymond Chandler. Fans of Philip Jose Farmer's Image of the Beast and classics of film noir should find elements of So Dark irresistible to them. A funny and ghastly tale, featuring two of the most attractive leads since Holmes and Watson stalked the foggy streets of London town.

So Dark the Night is the culmination of 20+ years of writing--simply put, the best thing I've ever written.

Their banter helps leaven some of danger and intrigue all around them, providing some light moments during dark and ominous times.
So Dark the Night took over three years to write (not including the research). I felt from the beginning that it was a work of great promise and have taken great care before offering it to discriminating fans of the macabre, horrific and otherworldly. I think the effort shows...
