Max Sindell Seeing the Bright Side

The Bright Side: Surviving Your Parents Divorce

The Bright Side: Surviving Your Parents Divorce

Synopsis:

My parents divorced when I was six years old, and it was the beginning of huge changes in my life, some of which were hard to deal with. Growing up, I was lucky to have friends and family who gave me good advice, and their support helped me make the most out of the challenges I ran into. But as a kid, all the books people would buy for me were written by psychologists with little or no real world advice, or they were sappy stories about self discovery or divorcing animals. I decided to write this book as a handbook and a guide for kids of all ages who are dealing with the day to day realities of divorce, and because I feel that divorce doesn’t have to be as terrible as everyone says it is – In fact, between all the new people, new experiences, and new freedoms, divorce can turn out to be a lot better than anyone might expect.
