Synopsis:
Through some kind of time warp that he doesn't understand, William Shakespeare
finds himself thrust into the modern era, with his new play almost finished. Of course
no one believes it's Shakespeare, and so Will has to live the life of a modern playwright:
getting a part-time office job, entering literary contests, trying to get an agent, having staged
readings at the YMCA, as well as seeking inspiration (but not sex) from a 42nd Street
hustler, to say nothing of dealing with blind casting, feminist theater, the critics, and
Broadway openings.
