The Pirates and the Mouse: Disney's War Against the Counterculture

Synopsis:

In 1971, the San Francisco-based cartoonist Dan O'Neill decided that his contribution to the cultural revolution would be the destruction of Walt Disney. With a group he tagged The Air Pirates, he put out two issues of a comic book that placed Disney characters in most un-Disneylike situations. And then he provoked Disney into suing them. The ensuing litigation lasted ten years.
