The Zookeeper

Synopsis:
Sam Metcalfe is a monkey keeper at the Zoo in Washington, D.C., a devoted uncle to his nephew Jamie, and a loyal friend to Laurel, proprietor of a local restaurant downtown. He's also lonely, and lost in the web of responsibilities he's created to avoid dealing with his own life. Through a developing relationship with a new man, with an older keeper he's paired with on a new project, and Laurel's need to take on added responsibility for her ill mother, Sam is forced to relearn the many 'rules' he'd based his life on, and begin to figure out what he truly needs.
