Voices Rooted in Truth Shake the Sky; Decade of Artists Against Rape (contributed to)

Synopsis:
'Voices Rooted in Truth Shake the Sky' was published by San Francisco Women Against Rape. Two of my poems included in the anthology, were performed at the Brava Theater; San Francisco, 2006; "Human Garbage" and "The Holocaust Museum for The Poorest of the Poor". They are included in my book; 'The Bones of the Homeless' and also in 'Ode to Janis Joplin' and 'Bones of the Homeless', my spoken word/music cd's.
It is a powerful and moving anthology of women's voices; speaking out about their own rapes and/or those of others. 'Voices Rooted in Truth Shake the Sky' can purchased it from San Francisco WomenAgainst Rape office in San Francisco, California.

You are not allowed

will lie
all the tears fears
shrieks and moans
of the millions who died
on dem cold concrete streets
Author Comment:
I am honored to be part of 'Voices Rooted in Truth Shake the Sky; A Decade of Artists Against Rape' and have yet to find a book with such gut wrenching honesty and spoken with understanding that far surpasses any of the ages of the authors involved in the performance at the Brava Theater. One day in time, rape will be history; IF we all continue to speak out and for every person on earth being treated with dignity. We are divine and this anthology affirms this as the bold, honest women, spoke their truth. 'Voices Rooted in Truth Shake the Sky; A Decade of Artists Against Rape'.
