Marilyn Kallet's PACKING LIGHT: NEW & SELECTED POEMS
Marilyn Kallet, longtime director of the creative writing program at the University of Tennessee, has been a wonderful friend and supporter of mine for over two decades now. She's an expert poet, a craftswoman of words and ideas, and a beautiful person in general. I never took one single class from this woman while in college, but I have enjoyed her work, her support and her friendship, and I doubt I merit such. That said, I have tried to provide what little support I have been capable of over the years, and I'm grateful for her appreciation.
